Thinking of a good domain name? Don't search for it at Network Solutions
Typical of any large company losing ground in its own playing field (like AOL), Network Solutions, a domain registrar giant, is having to resort to nasty tactics to try and gain new customers. By registering domains that potential customers are searching for on their site, they are essentially forcing customers who searched for a domain to register through them. Not to worry though - since they are using the 5 day grace period to register the domain, they have to release it within the 5 days to avoid having to pay for a year's registration. So if this happened to you, just wait it out and go to godaddy. That is, unless they follow suit and copy Network Solution's tactics. Let's hope not.
